This portable instrument can be used for the measurement of electrical
quantities in direct current systems, as well as in single and 3-phase
alternating current systems of up 400 Hz with any load characteristics.
The TCM option allows for measurements at the outputs of frequency
converters (motor controls) as well.
Applications range from the logging,
representation and recording of mains quantities through the recognition
and analysis of fluctuations and other power supply disturbances
(optional harmonic distortion and power disturbance analysis), on
up to the analysis and recording of energy consumption.
A multitude of applications possibilities
can also be found in industrial environments. For example, it serves
as a precision recording/measuring instrument for the determination
of characteristic quantities for electrical load components or generators
in both static and dynamic conditions. With the FFT option it functions
as a test instrument and compares the harmonic currents from load
components with the prescribed limit values.
Thanks to its compact and rugged
design, the MAVOWATT 45 is not restricted to stationary operation,
but can also be used for mobile applications.
